Window displays are the first impression we have of a store. In fact, we’re exposed to hundreds – maybe even thousands – of them everyday so it’s become easier and easier to just hurry right by and ignore what we see in the window. People are increasingly getting caught up in the hustle-and-bustle meaning that the importance of a storefront with appealing decor is growing tenfold.
The recent economic crisis means people are shopping and spending less so stores have had to get creative. Many of them are now trying to appeal to the customer’s emotional side and connect with them in different ways. Aside from the obvious beauty of some of the displays, the truth is that an eye-catching window can increase sales, foot traffic, and even press for the shop, which is why many companies have begun to include visual merchandisers to their staff.
Since we love design, we’ve scoured the internet for the best window displays around the world and compiled them for you on The Daily Triit. We’re positive these storefronts will tempt you and make you want to step inside to purchase something… get ready to be amazed!
